A trip I took with my host family during my Au pair year was to San Fransico and it was a wonderful trip. San Fransico is so different from Los Angeles and it's so fun to see how cities from the same sate can be that way. During our days here we did all the touristy stuff of course; biked over the golden gate bridge, went to the muir woods, visited Alcatraz, lombard street and china town etc. And yes, we ran up and down all the hilly streets, can't imagine living in such a hilly place. San Fran is a really cool city but I do prefer cities like Chicago and Minneapolis, but it's definitly worth a visit!
