The second time I visited New York City (The first time being as a part of my Au Pair training) was when my parents came to see me during my year away in the states. They started their visit in Minnesota and then we took a plane to NYC together. Both me and my mom had visited this cool, grungy city before but it was all new for my dad. We just walked along the famous streets, time square and central park. We took a boat to New Jersey to get a closer look at the statue of liberty and the amazing NYC skyline. We shopped and saw ground zero and their progress to re-build the towers. Also went to a war-boat musuem since my dad is very interested in such stuff. New York City is such an iconic city and it truly feels like "it's been waiting for you" when you arrive and see all the bright lights and we enjoyed our time even though the weather was mostly bad and cloudy.

Here's some pictures from our guided tour from my first visit in NYC. (And yes the weather was as bad here as well)

Cheers xxx
